War might have been averted

When Chamberlain returned from Munich, Churchill said to him, “You had a choice between dishonor and war; you chose dishonor and you will have war.”

The Iran negotiations could have gone differently and catastrophe might have been prevented.  This did not happen, and the world’s progressives — not so much anti-war as anti-conservative — are soon to be given a lesson in the playground quality of all interaction between enemies.  Unfortunately, many people who knew better will also pay the price.
