“Understanding Obama is easy, if one realizes that he is afflicted with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). Obama’s childhood can only be described as chaotic and highly dysfunctional. He was thrown in one culture after another where he did not fit in and was abandoned by his parents. Mentally healthy people do not refer to their own election by say such things as. “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for,” or “This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.” When people watch a video clip of his immediate reaction to the Ft. Hood shooting, the downing of Malaysian Flight 17 or Obama laughing it up minutes after announcing the beheading of Foley, they are struck by how odd he behaves. He makes a few unemotional remarks and then proceeds into cheer leading event attendees and makingjokes. Most people are unable to articulate why his behavior seems so weird, but it is because they sense his empathy is false.
People with NPD are typically described as arrogant, conceited, self-centered and haughty.
Despite their exaggerated self-image, they are reliant on constant praise and attention to reinforce their self-esteem. As a result, those with NPD are usually very sensitive to criticism, which is often viewed as a personal attack. Does this sound familiar?
His attempt to strike a deal with Iran is all about him and his legacy. With NPD, he lives in his own reality. He wants to believe Teheran’s talking points because they allow him to justify his appeasement. In the same way, he can not admit that America faces an Islamic threat, it conflicts with his reality. As he deals with his falling popularity, you will see him finding venues where he can get more narcissistic supply. In addition, he will be driven to frustrate his enemies to draw attention back to himself. And his enemies are not Putin or Khamenei, but Boehner and McConnell.
